My retirement day was more emotional than I expected. The card, above, from my colleagues was quite appropriate. My desk was dressed up, and I had some lovely flowers and gifts from my colleagues and customers.
I signed out for the last time with promises to come back and visit. Little did any of us realise that within a few weeks we would all be under lockdown and my colleagues would be furloughed.
